Gralf M. Sieghold says:
The Sieghold-Family showed up the first time at Seefeld, Butjadingen , Oldenburg, in abt 1710, moved to Abbehausen, Esensham, Blexen and then Bremerhaven, jumped across the N.Atlandic to the US and so forth. The name is very scarce, but the first one, Hinrich Siegholt has some 400 descendents which you can trace at ancestry.com. My mother is from the Rogge family from near Hammelwarden (near Brake) since abt 1550. Very common name in Germany. One of her ancestors moved to Seattle. I almost believe that all the older families at Butjadingen are related to each other. Anna Rebecca Dorothe Mengers, born Aug 10, 1833 in Atens was one of my great grandmothers. Shall read through all your informations, pics etc. Sincerely Gralf from Bremerhaven, Germany

Nice website, However, you have Hilda Tretow as the daughter of John Tretow and Elisabeth Schoening. These are her grandparents. Her parents were John Tretow and Henrietta Boldt.

You only list one child for Frieda and John Eimermann. They had six sons, not just one. All had children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. If you would like more information, please e-mail me for more info. My dad is the youngest of the boys. John being the oldest. Harold being second oldest. More in the middle. I would also like to know the connection of your family with the Eimermann's. Thank you.
