I'm doing research for a paper, and Bernard Goeres has another son by the name of Henry. He was born May 20, 1846, and was a prominent member of the village of Kiel in Manitowoc. He wrote Yellowbird, which is a fairly accurate description of early pioneer life in Wisconsin.
